I see you-JUST YOU.....

In this day and in this society, I wish we all saw the same colors….NONE!
Therefore, I challenge each of us to see No skin color, NO race, No religion….Take a stand and just see each other….The most beautiful color of them all.

I see you-Just YOU

When I look at you, I see a person, not skin color.  Many different shades of browns, lights, even olive colors but I see you-just YOU!  Many see religions such as Christian, Muslim, Hindu, and Buddhism but I see you-Just you.  In my mind, I see no colors of skin, race, or religion-I see you-Just you.

Past power has caused us to be blind but still I see you.  Many races are holding on to incorrect history book lessons, being brained washed to see skin color and race not I, I see you-Just you.  Oh how unfair has history treated us-yes “US” poorly-just down right disrespectful.  Are we not in the same boat these days?  Many still see color and race even when we are all struggling in this place but as for me, I see you-Just you.

Many teach their children color and religion….I cannot practice such acts why? because I see you-Just you.  Teach our children that there is no skin color, race, or religion because none of that matters.  Do we all not struggle with not having enough food, clothes, money, jobs, love?  None of the things listed has anything to do with color, race, or religion; they are upon all of us at this very moment in time.  In my opinion, it is morally incorrect to pass on such hate of a skin color, or religion.  I do not practice these acts-why, because I see you-Just you.

I see the person, the character, the smile, love, patience, kindness, humbleness, helpfulness, tears, hurt, pain, sadness, happiness, laughter, poverty, loyalty, richness.  See not one time did I mention skin color, race or religion-why because I see you-Just you and I hope that you Just See Me To!

I love it! That is so positive. If only we could all be so blind to the prejudices that are common - everything from racism, to ageism, to you name it. Thanks for the inspiration.

Kids are pretty observant and we live in quite a homogeneous community, so mine definitely notice colour, age etc. I don't think just noticing it is a problem, but teaching them that there's more to it than that - is.

Thank you very much for you comment Menarchery. I try hard to teach my kids that they have to look past the skin color and know the person.

Hey there Melody...It is hard to be that way but I know if we try hard enough we will obtain that goal. I just want to see the person before me not any of that other stuff. It takes away from them.

Hey Lindsey! Exactly! The goal is to get beyond all of the things that we see on the service that keeps us stuck and get to know all about the person. I wish for more people to strive hard and reach that level in their lives. Thanks you for your comment.

Terra! Hello hunni! Yes so many times we get caught up in what is right in front of us but not the actually person and what they have going on with them. I get tired of when ppl speak race or skin color comes out. I teach my kids if you know their name say it. Thank you for your comment new friend!

hey there MJ! yes i wish the same for so many children that are growing up today. I feel that it is a must. It is a way for them to learn instead up putting others in a cluster of black/white. I see no color I see you-Just you!
Thank you for your comment sweetie! :)

Beautifully said and so true! Let's just keep putting this out into the world - loving each other and seeing the real person one at a time has the power to change the entire world. Bravo!

Hey there Jodi! Thank you for stopping past...many times I get annoyed when people always seem to toss skin color in a topic...I understand that sometimes their may be a cause for it but you know the ones I am talking about the one where some is trying to describe another. Why is the question was he black/white?? To me it is like why does that matter!!! The stores is still the story if he was a pure rainbow! So yes lets strive to remove the colors...they don't really matter anyway!

You are right! No color, no race or religion.. Let's act as one, as God wants us to be, no matter where or who you are as long as you are God's creation, we are one.. This is wonderful, very positive in everything..

Have a wonderful day!

Hey there Sag! Yes this is my mind state. I wish so many more people would just remove all of the non factor things and start seeing people for who they are and not for what they have, skin color, religion, no race. We are all human and no one has the better hand than another...because if that were so why are they still on this place we call earth. State wide, country wide were all still here as one!

Love seeing you here see ya soon sweetie!

Very nice post. I really wish we cold be color blind. Most of the time I feel that I am. But it is a struggle to wonder if others are not seeing Just me witch in turn makes me not see Just them. Such a cycle. I do feel as we rais the next generations to see "Jusy you" we bring everyone closer.

Thanks for linking up for the Flashback. LInk up every friday on Chasing Joy.

Hey there Joy! Thanks for skipping over! yes many times it is very hard to just see ppl but its something to really work towards. I think we as a whole should practice this! Thanks for stopping by...your awesome!

I appreciate the thoughts behind this post, but I think it all too simplistic, like that dreadful Blue Mink song from the 1970s, Melting Pot. We are all individuals, yes, but we are also defined by our own cultures. I get a strong sense that you want there to be no differences between people, when it is precisely those differences, particularly cultural differences, that make the world such an interesting place.

Unknown said...

Hey there Dennis...thank you for comment. My thing is I know that all of the above exsits but in the same breath so many ppl use these things as a smokescreen not to really get to know a person. They take what is on the outside instead of using it to actually know a person. I teah my children to look beyond the skin color, the religion. Yes we are all different and theirs no denying that at all but before we judge look past what you see on the outside and get to know the child, person, mother, father, sister etc. We all have our own views but my purpose is to get to know the real you and not reject you bcuz of the norm. Again thanks for stopping by. Hope to see you again!
